Lucasfilm’s standalone Han Solo Star Wars movie has wrapped filming in the UK.
Production was based at Pinewood Studios near London for much of this year.
The film started shooting with Phil Lord and Chris Miller directing, but they abruptly departed the project in June and Ron Howard was hired shortly afterwards to take over.
The movie will be the second in the standalone adventures of the rebooted Star Wars franchise – following Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – and follows the escapades of a young Han Solo.
Pinewood Studios has hosted four Star Wars movies in recent years, beginning with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which was released in 2015.
The middle instalment of the new trilogy, entitled The Last Jedi, is released this December. Filmmaker JJ Abrams will return to direct the trilogy closer, which will also use Pinewood Studios as a base.
See KFTV's production guide for more on filming in the UK.
