The Royal Film Commission of Jordan and the Sweden Film Commission have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, during the Cannes Film Festival, agreeing to start collaborating in order to stimulate their scriptwriting sector.
The goal, as reported by the Royal Film Commission, is to encourage more joined projects between scriptwriters from Jordan and Sweden by holding workshops where stories can be created together.

The first scriptwriters’ workshop under this agreement will take place at the Malmo Arab Film Festival which will take place later this year from 2 until 8 September.
