Exciting news has reached KFTV HQ about Star Wars: Episode VII, with a reliable source telling us the sci-fi blockbuster will film in Abu Dhabi.
Rumours have been circulating for a few days now about the film shooting in the United Arab Emirates capital, and follows on from reports that the feature is planning to use Iceland for plate shots and on-location scenes.

A conversation with one of our sources (a Darth Vader-like neck grip will be unleashed on us if we told you their name) hinted to us that the project will film in Abu Dhabi – exciting news we think you’ll agree…
Will the LucasFilm blockbuster shoot on location or use a studio like Dubai Studio City? Or perhaps hire the help of media hub twofour54? We contacted both companies, however neither of them had heard of the production; either they were telling us the truth or were under the influence of a pretty powerful Jedi mind trick.
On the UK side of things, members of the production team are being very careful to neither confirm nor deny the reports. But what we do know for sure is that the film will shoot in the UK next month, using Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire.
