French actress Audrey Tautou is gearing up for her next feature which will be filmed in Burgundy and the Paris region from 4 August.
Microbe et Gasoil is directed by Michel Gondry, who caused a sensation with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind back in 2004.

The film centres on the extraordinary friendship between Microbe and Gasoil, who build an unorthodox ‘car’ from a lawnmower engine and some wooden planks and head off to spend their summer holidays driving around France. The two protagonists are played by young actors chosen by the director himself.
The film, which will shoot until late October, is produced by Partizan and co-produced by Studio Canal.
