In recent years, a film-friendly political regime has transformed New York City into one of the hottest locations in the US when it comes to shooting a movie or television series. Currently, the city is hosting around 200 feature films and between 25-30 TV series a year. A big part of the city’s appeal is the quality of its crew and an attractive incentive programme that has been in place since 2004. But another compelling part of the NYC proposition is the quality of its studios. Here, we outline some of the better-known studio players.
