Film London is holding an event to showcase London as a filming location destination for television producers from the Nordic territories.
The familiarisation trip runs from 30 November – 4 December, and aims to capitalise on the calibre and global popularity of shows such as The Killing, Wallander, Borgen and The Bridge as well as raise the profile of the city for those looking for co-production partners.

The opportunity is open to applications from television producers from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland and Finland, with a deadline of 21 September. Five producers will be chosen to attend the intensive, five-day showcase.
They will be shown around the city’s facilities and locations, learn first-hand about the tax relief incentives and network with industry professionals.
Adrian Wootton, chief executive of Film London and the British Film Commission, said: “London has already dipped a toe in chilly waters of Nordic noir by providing atmospheric interior locations for Fortitude. It’s only natural that we’d want to build on this success but also enable London producers to connect with the exciting talent working in this region. Having been responsible for some of the most gripping television drama in recent years, we want to encourage Nordic television producers to capitalise on what London has to offer, whether they want unique locations, incredible talent or world-renowned crews, facilities and infrastructure.”
