Noomi Rapace is set to star in The Price, a new feature film from writer/director Siofra Campbell. The main location is likely to be Amsterdam, with Rotterdam also on the shortlist.
The feature has met all criteria to qualify for the Netherlands tax rebate, with a little pre-production and some post being done in the UK. Finance comes largely from a UK-based private equity group under the auspices of Five East Films. The Dutch production company behind the projects is Revolver, Amsterdam.

Patrick Campbell produces the feature, which also stars Michael Shannon (Man of Steel) and Matthias Schweighöfer. It centres on Clare (Rapace) and her son Finn who are hiding out in rural France following a nasty custody battle. When a kidnap attempt is made on her son, she faces a dreadful decision – whether to trade his freedom for that of another child’s.
Shooting is due to get underway early next year. Rapace is also due to begin filming Ridley Scott’s Prometheus sequel, Alien: Paradise Lost in the first quarter of 2016.
