The Ireland shoot for the TV pilot was first reported by media outlet the Irish Independent and further details have been confirmed by Screen.
Troy Studios is an adapted production facility outside Limerick (pictured), built on the site of a former Dell factory, and offers three stages, the largest of which spans more than 30,000 sq ft.
The studio is intended to help develop Ireland’s film and TV industry outside Dublin, which is the country’s production hub.
Western Ireland got an international profile boost after appearing in a key scene in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and the country’s Wild Atlantic Way locations will appear later this year in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
