Crime drama Tin Star has started filming a second series on location in Alberta, Canada.
Produced by Kudos in the UK, the show is written by Rowan Joffe and follows Tim Roth’s British detective who relocates his family to Canada to start a new life and finds himself up against new criminal elements.

High River near Calgary will again be used for exterior scenes in the fictional Little Big Bear.
The production team spent CA$1m shooting in the town for the show’s first season and used visual effects to augment backdrops with mountain peak images shot elsewhere in Alberta.
Production spending in Canada’s provinces – including Alberta – rose six-fold in 2016-17, according to figures from the Canadian Media Producers Association.
Alberta has seen its production profile rise steadily in recent years, partly through hosting the critically-acclaimed TV adaptation of Fargo.
Vancouver overtook Toronto last year as Canada’s main filming hub, with international production spending reaching CA$2.3bn in 2016-17.
