Drama series Baghdad Central is filming on location in Morocco, doubling the African country for Iraq.
Produced by UK-based Euston Films, the six-part series is adapted from a novel by Elliott Colla and is set in Iraqi capital Baghdad in the autumn of 2003, six months after the US-led invasion.

The story follows an Iraqi father, formerly a police officer, who launches a search for his missing daughter while struggling to keep his younger daughter safe in the chaos of Baghdad.
Morocco is one of the most popular locations in the world for desert story settings and is frequently used as a stand in for the Middle East.
Amazon’s recently-launched TV drama Jack Ryan doubled the country for a multitude of Middle Eastern settings and the second series of espionage drama Deep State is also shooting scenes locally.
Euston Films is also in production on The Dublin Murders in Belfast and Dublin, a thriller series based on novels by Tana French.
See KFTV's production guide for more on filming in Morocco.
