A fourth series of Preacher will film in the Australian state of Victoria, with a production base at Docklands Studios Melbourne.
Based on a publication from DC’s Vertigo brand, the show follows a hard-living preacher who finds himself bestowed with supernatural powers when he endures a crisis of faith.

Dominic Cooper stars alongside Ruth Negga and Joseph Gilgun.
Filming on previous seasons has been based in US production hubs New Mexico and Louisiana.
The new series, specifically set in Melbourne, will shoot in the city for seven months and is scheduled to spend A$50m locally.
Filming is being supported by Australia’s federal Location Incentive Program, launched earlier this year, and also by Victoria’s regional incentive.
According to Film Victoria, Preacher is the biggest TV drama to shoot in the Melbourne area since Second World War series The Pacific – which involved Steven Spielberg as a major creative force – doubled the region for the Pacific and Japanese islands back in 2007.
Melbourne is developing a reputation for attracting international TV shoots, with recent projects having included a season of acclaimed US drama The Leftovers and BBC co-production The Cry.
