David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick is to pen the next instalment in the series

New Line has hired David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick to write the script for The Conjuring 4.
Johnson McGoldrick previously wrote the second and third entries of The Conjuring series, as well as Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa.
This follows the news that New Line’s Conjuring spin-off film, The Nun 2, is filming in France.
The Conjuring 4 will likely see return of the paranormal investigator characters of Ed and Lorraine Warren, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.
James Wan and Peter Safran will produce.
Shooting locations and dates are yet to be confirmed.
