Diego Luna confirmed at this year's Star Wars Celebration that season two of Andor is currently filming in Valencia, Spain.
Speaking at the fan and industry event in London, UK, Luna said: "I am very good. I’m happy. I am in the middle of shooting, which we were shooting in Spain, in Valencia, which was very nice… It's beautiful to be shooting with this team."
Spain was previously used by another Star Wars project, Attack of the Clones. Season one of Andor was filmed in Scotland, specifically the Cruachan Reservoir in Argyll. The reservoir's valleys and forests with cloud cover were used for parts of season one's key heist.
Season two's Valencia location offers us a little detail to glean; Cassian and his crew are moving towards a sunnier clime.
Attack of the Clones shot its key Naboo scenes in Sevilla, making it a Star Wars fan's must-visit destination.
