Film London has released a list of film and TV productions shooting in the city throughout August.
Production on currently underway on Paddington 3 in London. Filming is also set to take place in Colombia, which is doubling for Peru. The third instalment, titled Paddington in Peru, follows Paddington and the Brown family as they visit Aunt Lucy in Peru, but a mystery sends them to the Amazon rainforest and up Peruvian mountains.
The cast is lead by Ben Whishaw, Hugh Bonneville, Julie Walters, Olivia Colman and Emily Mortimer, who replaces Sally Hawkins in the role of Mrs Brown.
Paddington in Peru is helmed by commercials filmmaker Dougal Wilson (John Lewis: Buster the Boxer) from a script written by Mark Burton, Jon Foster and Hames Lamont based on a story by Paddington 1 (2014) and 2 (2017) collaborators Paul King, Simon Farnaby and Burton.
Also filming this in London this month is Sky and Peacock's upcoming original series, The Day of the Jackal, starring Eddie Redmayne. The series is a remake of Frederick Forsynth’s novel and Universal Pictures’ 1973 film adaptation directed by the legendary Fred Zinnemann. The new spy thriller will follow Jackal as he is hired to kill the former president of France, Charles de Gaulle.
Per our sister site, The Knowledge, the drama will also film in Budapest, Croatia and Austria.
Redmayne executive produces alongside Gareth Neame and Nigel Marchant for Carnival and Sam Hoyle for Sky. Christopher Hall produces. Forsyth will serve as consulting producer and Brian Kirk (21 Bridges) directs.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is also expected to start production in the capital this month. The SEGA franchise reunites director Jeff Dowler with actor-comedian Ben Schwartz who voices the eponymous speedster. Further cast members such as Idris Elba and Jim Carrey are yet to be confirmed.

House of the Dragon season 2 - Critically-acclaimed Games of Thrones prequel that takes us back to King's Landing, 200 years before the events of the original series.
Industry season 3 - High-stakes drama returning to film in the City of London's financial quarter.
A Thousand Blows - New period drama for Disney+ featuring Stephen Graham and The Crown's Erin Doherty and is set in the murky underworld of crime, illegal boxing and thievery in 1880s London.
The Diplomat season 2 - Hit political thriller for Netflix starring Kerri Russell as U.S Ambassador to UK, Kate Wyler.
Surface season 2 - Gugu Mbatha-Raw stars in second season of this psychological thriller for Apple TV.
SAS: Rogue Heroes season 2 - Based on the true story of the creation of the SAS. The hit-first season was brought to us by the creators of Peaky Blinders and starred Dominic West and Jack O'Connell.
Joan - True-crime drama set in the criminal underworld of 1980s London where infamous jewel thief Joan Hannington, played by Sophie Turner, rises to notoriety as a criminal mastermind.
Beaumont - Disney Plus series tracking the lives of several characters as they grow up in Belfast during the Troubles.
Geek Girl - Netflix series based on Holly Smale’s best-selling book series about a socially awkward teenager who becomes a top fashion model.
