'Chicago Fire', 'Chicago PD' and 'Chicago Med' resume filming

NBC's slate of Chicago-based TV dramas, referred to as One Chicago, has resumed filming in the windy city.

The Chicago Fire and Chicago PD crews began preparation on November 13 to commence filming on November 27th, while Chicago Med's crews will begin prep on Wednesday, November 15. Their first day of filming season nine is Wednesday, November 29.

The three Chicago dramas are all produced by Law and Order veteran Dick Wolf (Wolf Entertainment). 

USA TV dramas are hoping to get production up and running in order to debut in the first quarter of 2024, with many eyeing shortened seasons. 

Many Chicago landmarks are featured in the three shows, including Lottie’s Pub, a real bar in Chicago’s Bucktown neighbourhood that features as the hang-out for the Chicago Fire team, the Millennium Park, Navy Pier, and Firehouse 51, amongst many others.
