'Tron 3' resumes filming

Tron: Ares has resumed filming. 

Posting to Instagram, Director Joachim Rønning confirmed the third in the Disney series has started filming once again. Production is taking place in Vancouver.

Work on the film, starring Jared Leto, had been halted in August 2023 due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. 

Also joining Leto in the film are Dahmer star Evan Peters, Past Lives' Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith who most recently featured as God in the Netflix show Sex Education, and Cameron Monaghan, best known for his roles in the US version of Shameless and Gotham.

Tron: Ares is produced by Paradox Films and Disney.
