HanWay Films will introduce 'Winter Of The Crow' to buyers at this year's European Film Market

Principal photography is underway in Warsaw, Poland on the Cold War thriller Winter Of The Crow.
Lesley Manville stars as Dr Joan Andrews, a professor of psychiatry who arrives in Poland just as martial law is imposed. After witnessing a brutal murder by the secret police, Joan becomes a hunted fugitive running for her life.
Manville is joined by Tom Burke, Zofia Wichłacz, and Andrzej Konopka. Tomasz Naumiuk is director of photography, with Kasia Adamik as director.
Winter Of The Crow is produced by Poland’s Wild Mouse Production and Film Produkcja as well as Ireland’s Iris Productions and the UK’s Film and Music Entertainment.
Douglas Cummins is co-producing. Polish filmmaker Agnieszka Holland serves as an executive producer alongside R. Paul Miller, James DeMasi, Jonny Boston, Archil Gelovani from the UK and Ursula Romero Gerberding for ISB.
Winter Of The Crow was financed in partnership with the Polish Film Institute, Film Fund Luxembourg, UK Global Screen Fund - financed by the UK Government’s Department for Culture, Media and Sport and administered by the BFI, AX1 Films, ISB Films, and London Town Films. HanWay Films will introduce footage to buyers at this year's European Film Market (EFM, February 15-21).
