A24 reveals 'Godzilla x Kong' director Adam Wingard's next project

Adam Wingard’s action-thriller Onslaught will begin principal photography in autumn 2024.

Wingard will direct, and is reuniting with Godzilla vs Kong: The New Empire scribe Simon Barrett to co-write. The film will see the pair return to their roots, in the vein of their cult success, The Guest.

Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett will produce under their Ryder Picture Company (RPC) banner alongside A24, Alexander Black for Lyrical Media, Wingard and Jeremy Platt under their new shingle Breakaway Civilization, and Simon Barrett.

Lyrical’s Jon Rosenberg and Natalie Sellers will serve as executive producers with A24. Lyrical Media and A24 will co-finance. 

Lyrical Media is currently in post-production on Elevation from filmmaker George Nolfi, starring Anthony Mackie and Morena Baccarin.
