'One Piece' series two begins filming in South Africa

Series two of Netflix's live-action One Piece adaptation has begun filming in South Africa, with star Iñaki Godoy reprising his role as Monkey D. Luffy.

Godoy is joined by returning cast members Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.

Series two includes new cast members Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Clive Russell as Crocus Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton, and Werner Coetser as Dorry.

The live-action adaptation of the best-selling manga was created in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios and Netflix. Matt Owens and Steven Maeda are writers, executive producers, and showrunners. Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, and Becky Clements also executive produce.
