Bridgerton has begun production on Season 4 at Shepperton Studios in London, UK.
Netflix and Shondaland also revealed that joining the cast Katie Leung, Michelle Mao and Isabella Wei, alongside Emma Naomi and Hugh Sachs who will be part of the main cast this season.
The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to the second Bridgerton son Benedict (played by Luke Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver, Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), at his mother's masquerade ball.
Jess Brownell returns as showrunner and executive producer, alongside Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica, and Chris Van Dusen.
This season, Bridgerton expands its filming locations on one of the newly constructed backlot of Shepperton Studios, showcasing exquisite replicas of Georgian and Regency architecture including homes, buildings, Mayfair Street and more. The build spans approximately two acres of Netflix’s backlot at Shepperton.
Producerion designer is Alison Gartshore along with supervising art director Antony Cartlidge and art director Adam David Grant.
The series follows the eight close-knit siblings of the Bridgerton family who look for love and happiness in London high society; it is inspired by Julia Quinn's novels.
