California-based Chernin Entertainment has promoted Tracey Cook and Kaitlin Dahill to lead the company’s television division.
Cook and Dahill will continue to report to Chernin Entertainment president Jenno Topping, who made today’s announcement.
Cook and Dahill are responsible for several high-profile series upcoming from Chernin Entertainment, including three releasing in the next year: Man on Fire for Netflix, starring Yahya Abdul Mateen II and directed by Steven Caple Jr.; Chief of War for Apple TV+, created by and starring Jason Momoa; and The Madness for Netflix, starring Colman Domingo and created by Stephen Belber.
In the seven-plus years they have been with Chernin Entertainment, which is the foundational studio of the global multi-genre North Road Company, the company’s television hits have included See, starring Jason Momoa, and Truth Be Told, starring Octavia Spencer, both for Apple TV+, as well as P-Valley, for Starz, and New Girl, for Fox.
North Road was launched in 2022, and un addition to Chernin Entertainment’s Topping, Cook, and Dahill, North Road’s creative leadership team also includes Amy Israel, Chris Coelen (Kinetic Content), Connor Schell (Words + Pictures), Rasha and Stephanie Drachkovitch (44 Blue Productions), Ken Druckerman (Left/Right), Banks Tarver (Left/Right), and Sarah Wetherbee and Emre Sahin (Karga Seven Pictures).
