Advertising agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky London have pulled off an impressive spot for Turkish Airlines featuring an ambitious basketball dunk.
Directed by Mitch Stratten of Independent Films and shot in Madrid, the makers of the spot - which is to promote the airline’s sponsorship of the Euroleague - only had four hours to shoot and after an impressive 22 takes finally managed to get the money shot.
"It's a one-shot ad - 30 seconds. We've got two cranes, 12 players - four pros - all of whom have to be synchronised and choreographed perfectly. We've got one day to shoot this, but in reality we've got four hours, because the professionals are only here for that time," said executive producer Rob Steiner in a making-of clip (below).
The 30-second spot features Euroleague basketball stars Shawn James, Kyle Hines, Robin Benzing and Sergio Rodriguez.
