Fantastic Beasts 3 will start filming in Spring 2020 with all the leading cast, including Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law and Johnny Depp, set to return, confirms Warner Bros.
The third instalment will continue the theme of exploring wizarding cultures across the globe by being set in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The first Fantastic Beasts film was set in 1927 New York and the second was in Paris.

David Yates is directing the third instalment, reteaming with producers David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves, Lionel Wigram and Tim Lewis, along with executive producers Neil Blair, Danny Cohen, Josh Berger and Courtenay Valenti.
Redmayne will continue as Newt Scamander, Law as a Albus Dumbledore and Depp as Grindelwald, along with Ezra Miller (Credence/Aurelius Dumbledore), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) and Jessica Williams as Professor Eulalie “Lally” Hicks, who will have a more prominent role this time round.
The movie is set for release on 12 November 2021, three years after Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
