The hotly anticipated Jurassic World 3 movie has got a provision title of Arcadia and is set to shoot in Vancouver, Canada, as well as Hawaii, Malta and Pinewood Studios in London, in 2020.
Universal Studios’ final instalment in the hugely popular rebooted trilogy will be partly filmed in Metro Vancouver between 24 February and March 6 next year. This will be a huge boost to Canada, which is being dubbed ‘Hollywood North’ thanks to the growing number of productions shooting in the country, including Guillermo del Toro’s conmen drama Nightmare Alley, starring Cate Blanchett and Bradley Cooper.
Colin Trevorrow, who was at the helm of the first rebooted Jurassic World film in 2015, will return as director for the third instalment. And the cast of the original 1993 Jurassic Park movie, Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neill, will also return to star in this latest film.
Jurassic World 3 is set for release June 11, 2021.
