Filming of the black comedy is currently underway in the popular city of Albuquerque

Comedy film Maggie Moore(s), starring Tina Fey and Jon Hamm, is shooting in New Mexico for its key desert locations.
The MX2 Production is filming in Albuquerque from October to November and will employ approximately 60 New Mexico crew members and 150 New Mexico background talent.
Based on a screenplay by Paul Bernabum (Hollywoodland)The film sees Hamm playing a police chief in a dusty, quiet desert town who's suddenly faced with the back-to-back murders of two women with the same name.
Mad Men actor John Slattery directs and co-produces with Santosh Govindaraju, Dan Reardon, Vincent Newman and Cary Woods. Executive producers are Nancy Leopardi and Ross Kohn.
The cast also includes Micah Stock (Brittany Runs a Marathon), Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso) and Happy Anderson (Bad Boys for Life).
Leopardi said: “Gorgeous desert landscapes in close proximity to big city production resources and experienced crews made New Mexico the perfect choice of location for this film.”
New Mexico is proving a very popular filming spot, especially for westerns, hosting Alec Baldwin's Rust and Dead for a Dollar, starring Willem Dafoe and Christoph Waltz.
