Lindsay Lohan romcom Irish Wish films in Ireland for Netflix

Production is officially underway in Ireland on Lindsay Lohan's upcoming romcom Irish Wish.

Netflix has confirmed filming is taking place in the country, amid recent reports of the production team seeking a body double for Lohan's role. 

The official synopsis reads: Set in the rolling green moors of Ireland, the movie sees Lohan's Maddie learn her dreams for true love might not be what she imagined and that her soulmate may well be a different person than she originally expected. Apparently magic wishes are quite insightful. 

The feature is directed by Janeen Damian and written by Amanda Phillips, Kirsten Hansen, Jimmy Townsend and Vince Balzano. It is produced by Motion Picture Corporation of America (MPCA).

Irish Wish is part of Lohan's two-picture partnership with the streamer - her first film, Falling for Christmas, is slated to release this November.
