Shinsuke Sato will relaunch the company under the name Myriagon Studio on June 1

Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) subsidiary Aniplex Inc acquired Origamix Partners Inc. and will relaunch the company under the new name Myriagon Studio as of June 1.
Home of Alice In Borderland director Shinsuke Sato, he will operate out of the new studio for his future series works, the studio confirmed in a statement.
Myriagon Studio will continue Origamix Partners current operations, including talent management and Webtoon business.
It will also expand into live-action television and film production, with its live-action production focussed on developing and producing content for worldwide audiences.
Nobuhiko Ito, CEO of Origamix Partners, will continue to oversee the new studio.
Aniplex Inc's Chieko Murata will head the Television and Film business with Yushi Ueda heading Webtoon.
The new studio also entered into a strategic partnership with Korean content provider Imaginus, founded by Jinnie Choi.
Choi will serve as Executive Adviser to Myriagon Studio with the aim of jointly building a strong Asian premium production network.
