'Sweet Magnolias' season 4 begins production in Georgia

Netflix's Sweet Magnolias season four has begun filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

Director Norman Buckley confirmed the news via his Instagram alongside a series of behind the scenes photos.

Sweet Magnolias centres around three best friends Maddie, Helen, and Dana Sue (played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Heather Headley, and Brooke Elliott) who are born and raised in Serenity, South Carolina, a small southern town where everybody knows everybody and everybody knows everybody’s business.

The show is based on the bestselling novels by Sherryl Woods. Anderson returns to executive produces alongside Dan Paulson, Norman Buckley and Matt Drake.
