Elizabeth Banks, John C. Reilly thriller 'Dreamquil' underway in Los Angeles

Alex Prager’s debut feature Dreamquil, starring Elizabeth Banks and John C. Reilly, is underway in Los Angeles, US.

Principal photography began in the city on May 6. 

Banks plays a career woman dissatisfied with her personal life who tries to get her marriage and relationship with her child back on track by signing up for DreamQuil’s digital wellness retreat. Sofia Boutella, Kathryn Newton and Juliette Lewis also star.

The film is produced by Patriot Pictures, Brownstone Productions, Landay Entertainment and Big Valley Pictures. 

Republic Pictures is handling the film’s North American rights, while HanWay films has already sold the film in a number of other territories worldwide and will be launching new material to buyers at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
