Production on Netflix's 'She Said Yes' (working title) has begun in Istanbul

Production of the Netflix film She Said Yes (working title) has begun in Istanbul, Turkey with further filming to take place in Hamburg, Germany and the Turkish region Cappadocia.

The movie is a a "glossy and escapist romcom" that kicks off when a failed marriage proposal inadvertently reveals to German-raised Mavi that she is part of a super-wealthy Turkish dynasty in dazzling Istanbul and is soon thrown into a culture clash whirlwind.

The German-language film is a production of Turkish-based CB Medya and Germany's Dark Bay. Ngo The Chau directs from a script by Ipek Zübert.

The members of the cast are Beritan Balci, Sinan Gülec, Serkan Çayoğlu, Katja Riemann, Caroline Daur, Cansu Tosun and Mehmet Ateşçi amongst others.

The producers are Saner Ayar, Cengiz Çağatay, Nurhan Şekerci-Porst and Faruk Ozerten.
