Kelly Reilly to lead Sky Original crime thriller ‘Under Salt Marsh'

Yellowstone's Kelly Reilly will lead Sky Original crime thriller Under Salt Marsh from Claire Oakley, produced by Little Door Productions in association with Sky Studios.

The series will begin filming later this year with Oakley also serving as co-writer, lead director, and executive producer. 

Under Salt Marsh is set in the fictional Welsh town of Morfa Halen and its tight-knit community on the precipice of a once-in-a-generation storm. When former detective turned teacher Jackie Ellis (Reilly) discovers the body of her 8-year-old pupil seemingly drowned, the discovery sends shockwaves through the community and revives the ghost of an unsolved cold case from three years prior - the disappearance of Jackie's niece, which cost her career.

The series is written by Oakley, Jonathan Harbottle and Nikita Lalwani; Mary Nighy directs episodes three and four. The series producer is Scott Bassett. Joining Oakley as executive producers are Elwen Rowlands for Little Door Productions and Megan Spanjian for Sky Studios.
