'This Is Not A Christmas Movie' director Michael Middelkoop signs with 100%

Amsterdam-based production company 100% has added 'This Is Not A Christmas Movie' director Michael Middelkoop to its roster.

Middelkoop recently won three Golden Calf awards at the Netherlands Film Festival for the feature This Is Not A Christmas Movie (Dit is Geen Kerstfilm) produced by 100% in collaboration with Prime Video. ⁠⁠

Having studied film in Amsterdam, the Rotterdam-born creative started his career as an art director at renowned agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Happiness Brussels, Achtung! and Dawn, before finally directing for brands such as adidas, Tele2, Lego and Asics.

In addition to this feature, Middelkoop has directed short films Netflix & Chill and Snor, and TV series Zina.

Formerly known as 100% HALAL (2005), HALAL (2015), 100% consists of commercial, photography, scripted and non-scripted departments working on global campaigns for brands like Nike, adidas, CASETiFY, Gentle Monster and many others.
