Production has wrapped on Neon and Topic Studios Splitsville from Michael Angelo Convino.

Nicholas Braun, David Castañeda and O-T Fagbenle join Dakota Johnson, Adria Arjona, Covino, and Kyle Marvin.

After Ashley (Arjona) asks for a divorce, good-natured Carey (Marvin) runs to his friends, Julie (Johnson) and Paul (Covino), for support. He’s shocked to discover that the secret to their happiness is an open marriage, that is until Carey crosses the line and throws all of their relationships into chaos.

NEON will distribute domestically and is planning for a 2025 release, and NEON International is representing the worldwide sales rights which will continue during AFM next week.

Along with Topic Studios and NEON, Covino and Marvin are producing with Emily Korteweg under the team's production banner Watch This Ready. Johnson, Ro Donnelly, and Samantha Racanelli are also producing for TeaTime Pictures, with Arjona and Paul Barbeau serving as executive producers.

NEON and Topic Studios previously collaborated on Brandon Cronenberg’s Infinity Pool, which marked NEON’s first in-house production to be released theatrically.
Splitsville was developed at Topic Studios as part of a multi-year first-look deal with Covino and Marvin’s Watch This Ready following their collaboration on Covino’s directorial debut The Climb.

Recent productions from Neon include Tilman Singer’s Cuckoo with Hunter Schafer and Dan Stevens; Boots Riley’s I Love Boosters starring Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, LaKeith Stanfield, and Demi Moore; and David Robert Mitchell’s modern horror classic It Follows, titled They Follow.

Topic Studios slate includes Jesse Eisenberg’s A Real Pain, David Lowery’s  Mother Mary with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, and musical comedy Theater Camp.
