Production on BBC's comedy-drama Film Club has begun in Manchester, UK.
Kaos' Nabhaan Rizwaan, Vigil's Suranne Jones, Sex Education's Aimee Lou Wood, and House Of The Dragon season 2's Ralph Davis star in the series, co-created by Wood and Davis. Killing Eve's Anna Jordan joins the writing team for episode four.
Film Club is made by Gaumont whose credits include Obsession, Locked In and The Wives for BBC iPlayer and BBC Three.
Also joining the cast are Masters Of The Air's Adam Long and The Serpent Queen's Liv Hill.
Film Club is a show about love and family, about whether we should follow our hearts or heads, and being in love with a friend.
The series is produced by Gaumont UK with the support of ZDFneo. Stella Merz (Gentleman Jack, Renegade Nell) joins as producer and Catherine Morshead (Daddy Issues, The Full Monty) will direct the series.
Executive producers are Aimee Lou Wood, Alison Jackson and Jamie Jackson for Gaumont, and Nawfal Faizullah for the BBC. International sales will be handled by Fremantle.
